First of all - I just wanted to thank everyone for their kind and encouraging words on Wednesday's post.  You prove my point time and time again - this blogger community ROCKS!!!  :)  As my daughter would say, "I <3 U!"

And so, as I was scrolling for pictures today, I came across this one:

Writing/Publishing a novel ~ it's a LONG road.  Sometimes - it almost seems there is no end.  But, if you can just make it around that bend - hopefully what you see is a new path and a new adventure.  This applies to any goal, really.  Any dream.  And I'm happy to share the journey with AWESOME people like you.

Of course - for my writing friends out there,  you'll know that it's essential for your characters to make journeys as well.  Please share - What journey are/is you/your character taking right now??

And, as always, I wish you all a WONDERFUL weekend!  Happy Writing/Living ~ :)

Beautiful photo.
I am in the revising stage. When I'm not busy doing a thousand other tasks that is.

You're so right. It is a long road. I started out just wanting to see if I could complete a novel-length book. I wrote 80k words in a month. But that was nearly two years ago. I've learned tons and this project has been the one I've learned it on. It's been worthwhile.

I'm on the unbelievable journey of a second book.
And I'm really glad you got encouragement from the support group! That's what it's all about.

Stunning photo. My character has finally gotten the courage to start knocking at agent doors. Being a lizard, he's small you know, so he's looking for ways under the door.

Beautiful picture. I have two books coming out (November and December) through Soul Mate Publishing and their about to launch their website this coming week. So I've been very busy with a launch party.

It's a long road, but with plenty of cafes along the way to stop at.

I'm just catching traction with Book 2 in a series. It's kind of a funny journey. I've written a few book 1s, but never a book 2 before. Lots of learning going on, and with it, I'm discovering hidden deeps.

I think I've managed to go in circles lately in my writing journey. My character have stuff they want to do and I think I'm getting in the way. I'll keep this photo in mind. It's a nice straight road. Onward!

Ah, the long road that LOOKS like it leads to nowhere. May we all round the bend and be surprised!!! My character "wanted" to be more front and center, causing my agent to suggest changing my entire ms from 3rd to FIRST person. Whoa.
