Happy Monday, Everyone!!  Well, I've gotta give it up for the home state today.  So, U is for UTAH!

We're known for a few things:

Is it sad I've lived here ALL my life and never gone skiing??  It seems very wrong, somehow...
 National Parks

Gorgeous, no?  :)  (source)

It's FANTASTIC for me to know that Utah is also home to some very talented writers!!  Perhaps you've heard of them?

Brandon Mull!!
Shannon Hale!!!!!

James Dashner!!!!

Elana Johnson!!!!

Jessica Day George!!!
Pretty Awesome, right??  I stalk run into them from time to time...(ok, so I've seen a few of them from afar once or twice...)  But, I'm quite excited to get my copy of Possession SIGNED in June!!!  Woot Woot!!  And who knows...maybe I'll pick up a signed copy for one of you, too....  :)

Happy Reading out there today!!

And don't forget BRANDON SANDERSON (Mistborn series, Warbreaker, Elantris, Way of Kings, and finishing The Wheel of Time Series) or Ally Condie (Matched) or Bree Despain (Dark Divine) or Dan Wells (I Am Not a Serial Killer series) ... the list goes on and on. =D (You can't tell Brandon is one of my favorite authors, can you?)

I've become really impressed lately how many authors this relatively small state has generatred.

Thanks, everyone. Utah really does have a lot to offer - for the writer, or for just a lover of life and new cultural experiences.
