Find the Story Friday!!!! Rain, rain - GO AWAY!

I generally love it when it rains.  I love the sound of it.  I think I've mentioned this before, but I love to sit in my car off-road somewhere, recline my seat, close my eyes and let the pitter-patter of the water lull me.  It's strangely magical.

However... when I'm not sure Winter has ended and Spring has arrived (and it's May freakin' 20th!!!), because it rains and rains and rains and rains a little more...I kind of want to strangle rain.

But, here's my pic of the day anyway:

What are your thoughts on rain, lately?  And can you pretty please put that in story form?  :)

Happy Friday!

I love rain too, but there is such a thing as too much of a good thing, right?

Ps: is there a ghost in your photo. I swear there is some sort of silouette in the back ground in the mirror ... dun dun

The rain, rain that won't go away seems to be the only thing conversation topic around here. I live in the second driest state in the union yet I feel like we live in Seattle. *sigh*

When the cycle finally stops and the hot weather hits with a vengeance we're going to be miserable since we won't have been able to acclimate.

Rain means I don't have to mow the lawn. Of course, it means the lawn will be a foot tall by the time I do mow it...

Story form? Sure . . . :D

Sliding down the roof, the rhythmic splat of raindrops sounds calming, relaxing, soothing. When I look outside, the slick pavement beckons for me to step forward and dance in the rain.
But all this is dwarfed by the soggy, muddy grass and endless drudgery of cloudy days that turned into weeks that turned into a never-ending spiral of gray.

We are having a dry spell so need the rain. We welcome it and enjoy it. Of course, rainy season will be upon us shortly. (Florida)

As the chilly mist hides the Chicago skyline, droplets of rain cling to tree branches and buildings edges eventually dropping onto the unsuspecting public.

Shades of gray culminate into on dark cloud as thunder rubbles in an flickering sky. Drenched are the streets, grasses, and the windblown tulips. Yes, it is spring, but with a winter's kiss just a breath away.

We've had so much rain here too, but today we actually have blue skies and sun. It's gorgeous.

I love rain when I'm safe inside and don't need to go out, but driving in the rain tends to freak me out. Thank goodness we haven't had much rain here!

whenever I wash my windows rain starts the very same day so I kinda hate it :)

My thoughts on rain are that driving to school in the DARK this morning with rain literally BUCKETING against the windscreen (on a highway where there is no such thing as people who obey traffic laws) was a terrifying experience!
