But if this is your bag (baby), I hope you're staying warm, you don't get trampled, and you steal the deal of a lifetime! :)
And also hoping your Thanksgiving was fantabulous! Mine sure was. Did I mention that Thanksgiving dinner is my all-time favorite meal of the year? My sister switched it up a little this year (I'm generally a traditionalist with my T-day meals....turkey, cranberry sauce, mash taters and gravy, stuffing, sweet potatoes, rolls...) and made a butternut squash souffle. Yum!! And then we played games while (some of) the boys watched football. Games = Spoons (we only saw a few injuries) and Phase 10 (I won!!). I love long days with great food, great conversation and fun with the people I love.
But, after all was said and done, we left a great day and each other in a freezing cold night. I've been home for a few hours now, but my teeth are still chattering!! So...as I sat here thinking of what photo I'd add for Find the Story Friday - I realized that even if you're not as cold as me...it's still winter out there, everywhere! So - here's a little spring to your winter. Let me know how it inspires? I'm giving you a few choices here, so hopefully one of these lovely spring pics will spark a story idea in you:

hi miss donea! happy day after thanksgiving! me and my brothers and my sister went at my cousins house and it was lots of fun. i got soooo stuffed. i had to unbutton my pants. ack! ha ha. no shopping for us guys. who could wanna get mixed up in all those people pushing and pulling on stuff. ack! my sister went with her friends. yikes she gonna be soooo grouchy when she gets home. ugh! those pictures are real pretty. i like spring. i could do a story on that picture of that girl crossing over that water. she could be a princess and a prince could be watching her from behind a tree and hes smiling watching her. i hope you have a really nice weekend.
...smiles from lenny
Happy Turkey Day:)
Spending the weekend at home with the kids, and growing more exhausted than if I'd be at work...but it's fatigue well spent;)

No way I'd sit out in the cold all night! As for those pictures, it's 1850, and two lovers are strolling through a garden (and it's very warm).
I'm with you, TG dinner is my favorite! And I don't do the Black Friday thing. Can't get myself up that early on a non-work day.
Gorgeous pics! Hmmm, I write fantasy, and this evokes a scene I have planned in my second book involving fairies in a garden, and an almost-confession of love... chaos of course ensues and ruins said perfect moment.
It was COLD here too- we got a "wintery mix" as the weather people like to put it- which means basically mini ice storm Thanksgving morning. I was so afraid no one would be able to make it. But it stopped, so thankfully everyone made it.
Glad you had a fun thanksgiving- I'm thinking a beautiful hot day at the beach has me dreaming!
We got a little snow on T-Day, nothing that stayed on the ground, but it was really unusual to see snow so early in the winter (usually we don't get any until January) and it was lovely. We host dinner here and always really enjoy the family time.
I am definitely with you on avoiding Black Friday shopping! I'll order most of my gifts online from my cozy house, lol... :)
I see that you already got the Versatile Blogger award but I just gave it to you on my blog as well. :) Cheers!
Spring??? What is that??
Thanks for the burst of color and brightness!
I am glad that the souffle turned out- I thought that I had messed it up but it was so good. Breaking tradition can taste good!
Oh, and there is an award for you at my blog :)
Thanks for the comments, everyone!! It sounds like you all had fun/great/yummy Thanksgivings! And we all seem to be of the same opinion about Black Friday (crazy!!!!) I've even got some awards here (thanks, mucho - Lindsey and Alexia!) You all ROCK! :)
Great photos. Very pretty.
