Writerly Wednesday ~ A QoP Poll... :)

Hello, friends! As writers - it's always good to know what appeals to the masses. Right? :) So, I thought I'd give you a little poll and find out:
(source)
No, No!!  Not that kind of pole!!!  This kind of poll:

So, tell me ~ did any of these results surprise you? (granted you're not the first person voting, of course... :p)  And, thanks for playing along!! I hope you all have a wonderful day of writing/reading/living out there today! :)

Ugh. I can only choose one in each category?

OMG. All three of my choices (and what I've got planned for my next WIP) had the highest number of votes! I probably shouldn't get too excited though, only three people voted.

Loved this post!

The last one required two votes but it wouldn't let me...

Cool, I voted. The first one could have gone both ways though. :)

Whew, some of these were hard to choose, like the one about character, action, dialogue, humor, or description. The fantasy results did NOT surprise me, versus a contemporary, though. :)

Cool poll, and I mostly agreed with the majority!
Also, cute doggie! I have a dachshund mix that looks similar!

I'm with Donna. Some of them killed me to just have to choose one:) This was fun!

Yeah, it surprised me how many people would rather read fantasy than real life.

A couple of those questions I wanted a third answer to like....the first one. I like a bit of both setting and action. And I like both real-life and fantasy. It's not an either or thing, it's not that I like one better than the other. Sigh.... I'll get over it!

I agree a third answer was required for your polls. Both or sometimes for example would be my answer. Very thoughtprovoking though :O)

Love this. Made me think about my own novels too.
